It is in October 1988 that New Beat' S Band has been created by Giovanni VERO.

Since the first concert, the young band is mostly successful and it is the beginning of its rise.

Composed of eighteen musicians and a conductor, the orchestra offers a vast and wide repertory. Glenn Miller, Herbie Hancock, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis are some examples of the great names of the Jazz which the NBB takes as a starting point.

From the New Orleans to the Jazz Rock'n'roll and passing by the Swing, Bebop, the Rock'n'roll, Funky... but also the Bossa Nova, the Salsa, the standards of the French and American variety, all these styles constitute the diversity of NBB's musical library. The NBB performs in various demonstrations: festivals, official reception concerts, Jazz-rallies, dance shows, concerts with topics and musicals.

Three albums, FEEL IT (1991), PLAY AND MOVE (2000 and the last one BIRTHDAY issued in January 2004 for its 15th anniversary were produced until now.

The New Beat' S Band performed in more than two hundred and fifty concerts and shows in Belgium and abroad as well as in various radio and Belgian tv recordings. In July 1993, he moved to the Czech Republic to back up various vocal groups. He also performed with the vocal SWINGS Quartet, in a famous Club of Prague. The second tour has been organized in Germany in September 2000, in the Province of Emsland. The last tour has been scheduled in France (Gironde) in July 2004 for SAINT AUB' IN JAZZ FESTIVAL.
